George Street FestivalThe 37th Annual George Street Festival 2022 ran from July 28 through August 3 in St. John's Newfoundland. For the week leading up to the Royal St. John's Regatta, George Street is gated off with an outdoor concert scheduled each night. Concert goers can usually expect a few big names in Canadian music. Each night tends to have a theme with similar acts grouped together. The best thing about the George Street Festival is that your concert ticket gets you access to all of the bars on the street with no cover charge. You can also walk down the street with your drink as long as it's a plastic cup. And if concerts are not your thing, you can show up after 11pm and pay a single $15 cover to get access to 15 bars. One caveat, if you leave George Street at any time you won't be able to re-enter without a new ticket. Here are a few images from July 30, 31 and August 1st...
