Kip Moore-General Motors Centre- Saturday October 15, 2016.

So tonight I get to review Kip Moore.

The opening performance of the night was 29 year old Meghan Patrick from Bowmanville Ontario, who felt right at home performing in Oshawa. She is new on the scene with just over a year of performing and now opening for a major Country artist. Meghan released her debut album in April 2016 and performed a couple from that album tonight. They were the popular “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” & “Grace & Grit”.

Next on stage was 31 year old singer, songwriter & record producer Jon Pardi born in Dixon California. I had never heard him before tonight and I’m not sure why. This guy has talent and will be going places. He has opened for Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and now Kip Moore. It’s only a matter of time he will be headlining his own show.

It was now time for Kip Moore to take the stage. Kip Moore is known for his popular songs like “Dirt Road” and “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” which he performed to the delighted crowd. Born on April 2, 1980 in Tifton, Georgia this 36 year old performer puts on an amazing performance, keeping the crowd on their feet the whole time. Most of the stage was back lit and with smoke which made it difficult to see him or his band at times.

In true sporting sprit, Kip stopped the show to let Toronto’s Blue Jays fans chant ‘Let’s Go Blue Jays’ I have to admit it was pretty wild hearing the entire venue in an uproar.

Another great show that I am honored to have been able to see and review. I love my country music so I am always in my element seeing country artists perform.
