Rolling Back to the Roots: The Last Waltz – A Musical Celebration of The Band at Uxbridge Music Hall
Last Saturday night, I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most soulful tribute concerts of the year: The Last Waltz – A Musical Celebration of The Band, presented by Music by the Bay Live at the Uxbridge Music Hall.
This was not just another tribute gig. The show marked the 48th anniversary of the original The Band’s farewell concert in 1976. Under the direction of Juno-award-winning producer & musical director Lance Anderson, a cast of all-star Canadian blues and roots musicians gathered to faithfully recreate the songs that defined The Band’s legacy.
