The night kicked off with Jonathan Hulten, a Swedish singer-songwriter and artist known for his hauntingly beautiful melodies and ethereal stage presence. Formerly the guitarist for Tribulation, Hulten has carved out a solo career blending folk, gothic, and classical influences into a mesmerizing experience. His set featured delicate acoustic arrangements paired with his other worldly vocals, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that captivated the audience from the first note. Bathed in moody lighting, his performance felt almost ceremonial, setting an introspective tone before the night took a heavier turn. 

I wasn't quite prepared for a sit-down show, but as soon as Hulten began playing it made perfect sense. His music demanded a certain stillness, a chance to absorb the intricate melodies and ghostly harmonies without distraction. The seated arrangement transformed the experience into something almost meditative, allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves in the moment. 

Following Hulten was Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, the English stoner metal band hailing from Cambridge. They are best known for their vintage, fuzz-drenched sound reminiscent to classic Black Sabbath. Their hypnotic riffs, eerie harmonies and raw psychedelic undertones transported the crowd straight into a 1970s horror movie soundtrack. The signature lo-fi, doom-infused aesthetic was amplified by the dimly lit stage and swirling visuals, making for and unforgettable sonic and visual experience. 

By the time the night wrapped up, any initial surprise about the seating arrangement had faded into appreciation.
